Title: Mistakes (The title sucks, but i couldn't think of anything else )

Pairing: There are quite a few, so i won't bother to list them. At fisrt its just LeafxCrow and CrowxNight, but there will be more.
Rating:G - PG i guess.
Spoilers: Twilight all teh way to the sight.
Summary: Leafpool still loves Crowfeather, but Crowfeather has a new found love for Nightcloud. He loves them both... And then other things will happen....
Warning: well there will be some fights and there will be roamnce.

Chapter One

One moon after the badger attack…

In ThunderClan territory…

Leafpool padded out of camp enjoying the beautiful day, but her eyes were filled with sadness. It had been a moon since the badger attack and all of her clan mates were better except for her. Her heart hadn’t healed yet from the loss of her mentor, Cinderpelt and her break up with Crowfeather, the cat she loved. It was now her duty to be a full medicine cat and she accepted that, but she wished that Crowfeather was still her mate. She missed him.

Absently Leafpool walked all the way to the WindClan border. She sat there looking out through the open fields. Then she heard a rustling in a near by bush and a dark grey tom stepped out of it.

“Leafpool, What are you doing here?” his voice soft and his eyes searching.

“I… I missed you,” she finally answered.

Crowfeather began to purr, his large stride making up the room in between them. He licked her ears gently. “I love you.”

Leafpool pushed him away. “Crowfeather… no. I’m the medicine cat for the clan now.”

Crowfeather looked hurt. “But I love you.” he whispered.

“I love you too,” looks at him with pain in her eyes.

“Leafpool please, I love you I can’t bear to lose you again.”

“You never lost me in the first place,” she said softly. Love washing over her. Crowfeather began to purr and so did Leafpool. They sat there grooming each other happily.

As the sun rose to its height they said good-bye and Leafpool watched as Crowfeather bounded out of sight.

She sighed and walked back to camp, gathering herbs as she went. For the rest of the day she was distracted and couldn’t concentrate. When she finally settled down for sleep she tossed and turned, fighting with her love for Crowfeather.

here's chapter two!

Chapter Two

In WindClan camp and territory…

Ever since the day before when he had met Leafpool he couldn’t think of anything, but her. As he walked out of the warriors den he saw the sun rising and he remembered how the sun had hit Leafpools fur making it gleam beautifully. Crowfeather stretched luxuriously.

“Hello Crowfeather,” a soft voice behind him said. Nightcloud walked out beside him.

“Oh, hi Nightcloud.”

“You’ve seemed a little distracted since yesterday. Are you ok?”

“Yes I am thank you Nightcloud.”

“Oh, well would you like to go hunting?”

“Sure,” Crowfeather smiled at her. They trotted out of camp together.

Nightcloud hesitated then said, “Crowfeather, I’m really sorry about you and Leafpool. I know you really loved her.”

Crowfeather almost hissed at her. She was talking as if Leafpool wasn’t alive or something! But he stopped himself. Even though a moon had passed no one had been able to speak to Crowfeather about Leafpool. Crowfeather didn’t reply he just kept walking. So Nightcloud continued, “I know I can never replace Leafpool or Feathertail, but I will always be there for you.”

Crowfeather looked at her in surprise. Was she asking him to be her mate? Crowfeather liked her, but what about Leafpool? The Clan was just beginning to trust him again what would happen if he said no to Nightcloud and told her that he was still seeing Leafpool. The Clan would go against him again. So he said, “Thank you.”

Nightcloud leaned over and licked his ear. Crowfeather smiled at Nightcloud and purred.

At sun high Nightcloud and Crowfeather had caught a respectable amount of prey and Crowfeather made an excuse so he could go and see Leafpool.

As he saw Leafpool waiting for him there a deep, steady purr rose in his throat. He ran to her and licked her all over purring happily.

For the next moon it went on like this. Crowfeather met with Leafpool. But he still made time for Nightcloud. He loved them both…

Chapter Three
In WindClan camp…
Nightcloud purred at Crowfeather groomed her black pelt. It was almost time to leave for the gathering. Nightcloud was going, but Crowfeather wouldn’t be going.
“I thought you might want to know I’m going to have kits!” Nightcloud told her mate excitedly. Crowfeather looked at her, his face giving no emotion away. Then he smiled and said. “That’s wonderful!” Nightcloud purred and licked his ear.
Nightcloud stood up and stretched. At that moment Onestar’s voice rang through the camp. “It is time for the gathering!” All the cats going to the gathering padded over and followed Onestar out of camp.

Chapter Four
In WindClan camp and territory…
Crowfeather watched guiltily as Nightcloud left for the gathering. He had gotten her pregnant not really knowing if he truly loved her. His mind was raging he felt like crying he was so confused. He loved both of them so dearly, but he had to choose he couldn’t cheat on the two she-cats.
Crowfeather saw Leafpool’s beautiful amber eyes looking at him, love and passion in their depths. But then he saw Nightcloud the cat who had been kind to him when the while clan had hated him.
Crowfeather was so confused. “What do I do Feathertail?” he whispered into the night. But nothing came, no visions of starry cats. Not Feathertail’s sweet scent or her soft voice, nothing.
Crowfeather stood up and looked up at the stars and the moon. He walked out of camp still troubled. The cool night wind ruffling his fur.
He walked to where he met Leafpool. He needed to see her to talk to her. To his surprise he saw her there. Standing and waiting. She looked worried and desperate. But he was still to far away to see he face clearly.

Chapter Five
In ThunderClan camp and territory…
Leafpool ran up to Firestar, panic in her eyes. As she neared him she forced her self to calm down.
“Firestar I can’t go to the gathering today,” she told him. Firestar looked at her oddly. Leafpool always went to the gatherings.
“Alright,” Firestar replied. Then the clan left.
Once she was sure they were gone, Leafpool ran out of camp and to where she met Crowfeather hoping that he would come. Then she saw him coming. Crowfeather began to run to her and he licked her ears gently.
“Oh Crowfeather,” she sighed, “We’ve done something terrible. Or more like I’ve done something terrible.”
“What is it Leafpool?” he asked softly.
“I-I-I’m going to have kits,” she whispered.
“But Leafpool that’s wonderful,” Crowfeather said forgetting she was a medicine cat.
“How can it be? Medicine cats are forbidden to have kits. What will we do Crowfeather?” she asked him bitterly.
Crowfeather hesitated then said, “Leafpool I have to be honest with you, Nightcloud is also expecting my kits.”
Leafpool looked horrified and for a minute she couldn’t say anything. “I thought you loved me, but I guess I was wrong,” she said regretfully.
“No Leafpool! I do love you, but I love Nightcloud too.”
“Why don’t you choose?” she asked challenging him and looking him strait in the eyes.
“I can’t.”
“Then I’m leaving,” she hissed. Leafpool stormed off, hurt. She had thought Crowfeather loved her and not any one else.
Crowfeather couldn’t say anything. He couldn’t choose one of them. What had he done?
Leafpool picked herbs as she made her way back to camp. Then she lay down in her den and started crying. Tears came pouring out of her eyes not stopping. Then she heard a rustling. She looked up and saw Squirrelflight, her sister.
“Leafpool what’s wrong?”
“I’ve done something terrible,” she started to explain how she had continued to see Crowfeather and everything.
When Leafpool had finished Squirrelflight began to lick her sister soothingly.

After that day Leafpool continued to ignore Crowfeather even though he came to where they met to see if she was there. Leafpool new he was looking for her, but she wouldn’t come after he had told her that he had two mates. Crowfeather told Nightcloud everything and at first she had been angry, but then she had understood because she loved him more that anything. Leafpool loved him like Nightcloud did too, but in a different way…

I hate Nightcloud too! But who will Crowfeather choose in the end? (Well in my story.) You have to wait and see!


Chapter Six

In ThunderClan camp…

One night Leafpool lay there staring up at the stars. She new her kits would be there any day. Her belly was swollen luckily she had made up an excuse and the clan had believed it.
Leafpool felt a tiny kick in her stomach and winced. She licked her large belly then felt another kick. Her kits were coming! Then she heard Squirrelflight.

“Leafpool, my kits are coming,” she whispered.

“So are mine,” Leafpool answered frightened.

“Then we must not be heard,” Squirrelflight answered.

They walked to the nursery as if everything was normal. There were no queens at the moment; Sorreltail had already left the nursery. So Leafpools secret would still be safe. They lay down beside each other quietly.

Leafpool winced again as she felt another kick. It went on like this for a while then the kits started to come. A couple of times the queens wanted to yowl out from the pain, but they stopped themselves.

By morning the kits were born. Leafpool licked her five kits gently and Squirrelflight licked hers.

“Squirrelflight may I come in?” it was Brambleclaw.

“I’m sorry, but you can’t,” Squirrelflight replied.

“Why not?” he said a bit crossly, “Are the kits here yet?”

“They are but you may not come in,” she said stubbornly.

“Fine,” he grumbled. They heard Brambleclaw walk away and they sighed with relief.

“What will you name yours?” Leafpool asked.

“This one is Lionkit,” Squirrelflight said pointing her tail at a golden tom, “The black one is Hollykit and the grey one is Jaykit.”

Squirrelflight licked all of her kits proudly, “What will you name your kits Leafpool?”

“I don’t know,” Leafpool looked down at her unusual number of kits, five.

It was silent for a while as they took care of their kits.

Then Leafpool broke the silence, finally deciding on names, “This grey tom is Mintkit. The light grey she-kit as Sagekit. The ginger and white she-kit is Petalkit and the light brown tabby she-kit with a white under belly and legs is Cloverkit. This dark grey she-kit is Mosskit.”

“Those are wonderful names, but what will you do with them. I can’t pretend they are mine, there are too many,” Squirrelflight said.

“I don’t know,” Leafpool said helplessly.

“Leafpool choose the two you would like to keep and give the other three to Crowfeather.”

“Give my kits to Crowfeather?” she hissed.

“Leafpool I know he’s hurt you, but I talked to him, he’s so confused and he really does love you. More than you know.”

“I will not, not because Crowfeather hurt me, but because I can’t let them go,” she whispered, “Look how sad Bluestar was when she gave up her kits. I’m not going to be like her.”

“Ok, but what will you say when they ask about the kits?”

“I will tell them I found them in the forest,” she said.

Then they heard Brambleclaw, “Can I come in now?”
Squirrelflight looked at Leafpool. Leafpool nodded at her and stood up and nudged the kits over to Squirrelflight.

“You can come in now,” Squirrelflight said to him. Brambleclaw came in. When he saw the kits his eyes shone with joy and confusion.

“These are our kits, their names are Lionkit, Hollykit, and Jaykit,” Squirrelflight explained, “The others Leafpool found in the forest.”

“They’re beautiful Squirrelflight,” Brambleclaw purred. Squirrelflight purred to.

“I’ll leave you two,” Leafpool said. She gave all of the kits a lick then said, “If you get too drained from taking care of them all, Squirrelflight tell me and I can help.”

“Thank you Leafpool.”

Then Leafpool left.

Chapter Seven

In WindClan camp…

Nightcloud looked down at her one tiny kit. Crowfeather walked in when he saw the kit he
yowled with joy and licked both his mate and kit.

“What is his name?” asked Crowfeather.

“Breezekit,” Nightcloud answered licking Breezekit’s black fur.

Nightcloud and Crowfeather purred. Crowfeather lay down beside Nightcloud and sat there with his son and mate.

Even though he was happy he couldn’t help but wonder if Leafpool had had her kits yet. He sighed wearily.

“What is it Crowfeather?”

“Leafpool,” that one word explained everything to Nightcloud.

“Why don’t you forget about Leafpool? She’s obviously forgotten about you,” Nightcloud said trying to persuade him to choose her for his one and only mate.

“She hasn’t,” Crowfeather hissed and immediately stood up and left. Nightcloud regretted what she had said now. She just loved Crowfeather so much she wanted him to love hr like she loved him. She new he didn’t He couldn’t love her like she loved him because he shared his love and he still loved Feathertail. But she had told him that she would be there for him and that was what she was going to do.
