I think it will be something like Song of the Ice... I haven't really titled it yet...hopefully it least one publishing company won't make some snide remark, like "We don't accept childrens' entries" without even reading it, and I'll find someone willing to read the actual story, not the age, like Nancy Yi Fans' editor. Heyy!
Rockywave, this story is really good, and I love the suspense... But you really need to space things out. There should be a lot of text/chapters/etc. between important events, and writing them BAM-BAM-BAM doesn't do anything but cramp your style. And when there are important things happening (ie- people joining the tribe) you should extend the descriptions and emotions.
And, my little pet peeve about the croc... a) The books are set in England, and there are deffo no crocs there. b) If there were, the cats wouldn't knwo what they're called! lol =D
Make it all roll with the amazing talent you have wrapped up inside you! Let that magic out, and publishers will be falling over their feet to take your manuscripts!

Hi Tigerfur, Morning, Wolverstarlight, Swiftclaw and Ghostfeather! For once in my life, I'm actually exhausted. I just pounded out the rest of Chapter 11 and now I'm going to post the epilogue.

Epilogue The world was dark. Not just dark, pitch-black. A gray-and-white tabby cat was in an unfamiliar field. She was dreaming, and for some reason, she knew that. "The Tribe of Endless Hunting?" she called. "Are you here?" A small black cat appeared. "Darkshadow!" exclaimed Pooolteller joyfully. "Yeah. Hi to you, too." The cat smiled. "Well, anyway, " she said, "I'm here to tell you what to do with your kits." "Good." said Poolteller. "I've been worrying about them all night." "Well, first you need to go back to the Mountain of Endless Cliffs..." Poolteller listened closely as Darkshadow explained about her kits. "Well, goodbye, now." "Goodbye." Another cat, this time a fiery ginger one, emerged from the tall grass. "Hello, Poolteller," he said. "Hello, Sun." "I have a message for you." "Go on," "You have a great destiny, Poolteller." Sun paused, then went into a prophecy. "Only the ones who hear water speaking can save the Tribe." "What? How does that make sense?" asked Poolteller. The prophecy was ludicrous, and Poolteller would have liked for Sun to explain a little bit into it. But the cat was already gone. |

Yep, there's going to be a sequel. It's called Crashing Waves, and it will follow the life of Pooltellers' to-be, named Gaze of Stormy Sea, Seagaze. I've got the plot laid out, but it'll take quite a while to edit it, and also, my poor neglected other fanfics need to be updated.

Nice  And I'm glad to encounter yet another aspiring author I'm also writing a book, but it's based on people, not animals. Of course, it had to be fantasy however, I like for fantasy  |

I like it, you should definitely continue writing. I am working on a story too. The Clans; WindClan, ShadowClan, ThunderClan, and RiverClan; have paired up with each other: ShadowxRiver=MoonClan, and ThunderxWind=SunClan. I'll post it when I finish. Anyways, great job!
