City Cats }{ VERY different warrior cats

Setting:In the future, but it's bleak and glum.
Summary:

Cats:

Black the cat huddled against the wall of the slum, shivering. He was in the poorest part of the city, where all the human beggers lived. He shuddered, thinking of the moaning woman and her starved, crying children, trying to get hold of him to eat him. Pff, thought Black. No twoleg is ever going to eat me. The battered street lamp fizzled and went out, and then it started to rain. In the distance, over the broken roofs and high walls, Black could see the palace, a huge modern tower made entirely of black sandstone. The Governer lived in there. Some said he was mad. But Black didn't care. It didn't involve him, so let the twolegs battle and kill each other. He stood up, shook the rain from his pelt, and trudged off in the direction of the sparse forest outside the city walls. An alarm went off in the background, somewhere near the interogation unit. Leaping onto endless boxes and alcoves, eventually Black reached the top. He bounded down the wall, into Carack Forest. Suddenly, there was a snarling from around him. Dogs! Big dogs of every race, about ten of them, obviously Cat Hunters because of their steel chest armour, surrounding him. Damn it! Black thought. You left your guard down, and now see what's happened! 'What'r you doin' in this part of the city.' asked the biggest dog, more like a statement then a question. 'Oh, y'know, just lookin'. But i'm goin' now,' answered the cat casually. 'Is that so?' The dog grinned. 'Boys.'
The packclosed in, slowly...

'And girls!!!' squeaked a tiny german sheperd pup. The big dog swung round to face her. 'Aisha!' he growled. 'What did i tell you!!!' 'Don't follow you,' she replied, in a monotonous tone. The dog's face softened. 'Next time, stay with your mother. And then daddy'll take you out, ok?' The pup ran off, barking her delight to the moon. The pack sblack personed. 'What? I see YOU guys have let the cat escape!' roared the dog, in another mood again. From his vantage point on the roof of the peasant's house, Black laughed quietly to himself.
Tell me if i should do more!

It reminds me of Jak II, have you ever played that? the setting in your story has many similarities to it.
This story is different, but engrossing, and I want to hear the rest!

The rain lashed out of the dark sky, almost as Black as the Tom's pelt as he raced across the street. He didn't like to be caught out. An enemy patrol of cats padded past him, their tails swinging high. Black recognised the patrol's leader, a tom named Neon. He had purple-black fur, so hence his name. He stopped and hissed. 'What's up, Sarge?' asked one cat. 'It's that Free cat, Black. Search round the area.' replied Neon. The cats from the patrol were from the tower, or as they liked to be alled, the sandstone clan. They served the governer's cat, Crackia. Black darted up a laneway, onto a low wall of a house, and up onto the roofs of the run-down part of the city. The other cats didn't find him. Suddenly, he was face-to-face with a light blue she-cat. 'Hey,' she said casually as if he were a friend that she had just seen. 'Who are you?' asked Black. 'Twila,' the cat said, licking her paw. 'And you?' 'Black. Do you live in the city? I've never scented you before.' 'Yep, but i like to keep hidden.' was Twila's reply.'There's the fugitive!' cried a small brown tom on the opposite roof. The two groups of cats, Twila and Black and Neon and his patrol, stood facing eachother, the strong wind blowing their fur everywhere. 'Twila, cat of twoleg tower, i, Crackia's right hand man, order you to give yourself up.' shouted the tom. 'Hang on,'gasped Black. 'You're Twila of the sandstone tower? Crackia's mate?' 'Old mate,' corrected Twila. 'I don't like him, he's crule and vicious!' 'Surrender or die!' called Neon. 'Run!' Twila responded humerously. 'Let's see you ratbags get some excersise!' Snarling and roaring, the Sandstone group jumped the gap between the houses. Twila and Black raced away, and they could'nt be folloed because of the wind and rain.

Later that night, Neon stood alone on one of the many terraces of the tower. Crackia joined him. This cat was quite small, but completely bone-chilling. He was brown-black, and was missing an eye. When Neon told him of his mate's escape, Crackia nodded, and Neon excused himself from Crackia's presence. 'How'd it go?' asked one of the patrol cats. 'Fine, i think,' Neon answered. But he was interupted by a blood-curdling scream from outside. It was Crackia. He was screeching, and by the sound of it, venting his vury upon the poor twoleg slave that was on duty.
Should i write more?

This sounds more like Jak II every time I read it...
And quit asking if you should write more! Just write what is in your heart (yeah, cheesy).

Aww, you guys mean it? Should i write more? Just kidding tee hee! Anyway, i havn't played Jak 2, so i dunno if that's a good thing that it sounds like it!!! Sorry 4 the spelling mistakes aswell i was in a rush!!! ;DOk, here's more:

Twila led Black through the darkened alley, never stopping to let the two rest. 'Hurry up!'she hissed, baring her sparkling white fangs. 'How'd you get your teeth so clean?' Black asked. 'Well, i did live in the tower, remember? They washed me everyday with foul smelling stuff, and then combed me so much i nearly lost all my hair! It was horrible.' 'And that's why you left?' 'No, Black, Crakia was horrible. He killed servants and was such a suck up to that twoleg lord. I loved him when we were very young, he would meet me down by the pond, and he was truly a wonderful tom, until the twoleg came, and he changed Crackia, feeding him only the finest food, allowing him servants and luxurys any other free cat would detest. Soon Crakia thought he was better than the rest of us, and maybe he was, but cats began to hate him. And so did I.' Twila finished. 'You know hw dangerous this city is! For me to be with you, anycat could catch us and hand us over.' Black spat. 'Then leave.' there was no denying the sadness in Twila's eyes. 'I'm not forcing you to come with me. I dunno where to go.' 'Well, how about my clan in Carack forest? I'm sure Nightingale would welcome you.' Black suggested. 'Nightingale?' 'Our leader. 'Oh'. The two cats settled down to sleep behind some crates, behind a small shop. Twila watched Black lie down, then padded over to him and layed her head down on his back. He licked her muzzle gentle, and then, their tails wrapped around oneanother, they fell asleep.

'Get up!' a voice snarled at Black, as he felt a kick on his back. 'W-wha?' he said sleepily, yawning at licking his teeth and mouth. Then he realized that it was a patrol! Twila was yowling piteously at them, but she was marched promptly around the corner. 'On yer feet,' growled Neon, his mangled face twisted in a grotesque picture of happiness.
Soon he was in the top wing of the black tower. 'You may take your leave,' an unseen voice murmured. The patrol left the room, and took Twila with them. 'So,' the voice continued. 'The runaway free cat,' 'Free cats are just like you! And i'm not in that tribe, i'm in the Forest Tribe,' shouted Black. The voice snorted in derision. 'The forest tribe? There are no tribes.' 'There are! The forest tribe, the Inner city tribe, the Sandstone tribe, the Freedom tribe, the Rally cat tribe and your tribe, the BlackSandstone tribe.' A black cat that was missing an eye stepped out from under a throne. The hollow where the eye was supposed to be was a wispy-grey, and completely fur-free. 'There are no tribes,' repeated Crakia ominously. 'There ARE!' roared Black, worked up into a maddened rage. Crakia said nothing. Then all of a sudden, he leapt upon Black and tore apart his back and legs. Black slashed at his face, but the patrol outside the door were ready, and on Neon's order they stormed the room. Black was held against the floor. 'Now you listen here,' Crakia hissed, so quiet that everyone had to lean in to hear. 'I will tear you limb from limb if you say anything like what you just said to me again, do you hear?' Black siad nothing. 'Do you hear?!!' Crakia growled, clamping down hard on his paws. 'Yes!'
Crakia stood up. 'The dungeon,'

Kk, continuing on:oh, by the way, i meant said not siad!!!
Black slumped up and down the floor of the dungeon. His head hurt from the fall down the steps. 'Ughhh...' he groaned, still feeling groggy. 'Hi!' a voice as sweet as a lark at dawn called out to him. 'Hi... who are you?'Black asked the brown and white she-cat, her pelt so much more simple then all the dark, heavy emo blues and blacks that he was used to seeing.
'Laryana,' she answered. 'Black.' came his reply. 'Come on, do you want to get out of here?' Laryana asked. 'Yeah! Which way?' he asked. So they went, on a whirlwind, up the stone passages and, keeping to the sides, avoiding other cats. 'Wait,' he said, as they were nearly out of the castle, at the much-more-elegant ground floor. 'We need to get Twila!' Laryana hesitated, and then nodded. She knew he wouldn't leave without her. As they turned the corner, there was Twila, surrounded by a group of Blacksandstone cats. The other cats froze, but Black and Laryana were ready. Black leapt straight for the centre of the group, while Laryana went unnoticed to Twila's side, and led her out. Black followed, Dashing up behind them. 'Go!' he breathed, and they ran like all hell was behind them. They thought they would soon be safe, but the patrol cats chased them until sunset, outside of the city, near Forest tribe's base. 'Give up, Black,' droaned Neon. 'My cats are getting bored.' 'Fat and lazy, you mean!' laughed Black. 'Come now, we don't want to hurt you! All we want is that she-cat of yours. Why, you havn't got attached to this old thing, have you?' he grinned, pointing to Twila. A bang went off behind the. The cats turned. 'Birds,' snarled Neon. The other cats were gone, escaped to the Forest Tribe camp. 'No!' roared Neon.

Ok, people, tell me if i should do this:I was thinking of writing a proper story like this. There would be a few books, and would be about different generations. The first might be cats fighting in the city, the second about wolves coming to the city, the third could be about deer living around the city, ect. In the end they would all meet up, and would need to help each other in order to survive. Tell me what you think!And here's a character summary i've been meaning to do:
Black:A streetwise Forest-tribe cat with a dark personality. He likes Twila as nothing more than a friend(so far!) but is attracted to Laryana. He's a born leader, brave and wise.
Twila:Mystical blue she-cat with a sense of humor, although not really that secure. She has developed a soft-spot for Black which she can't explain.Has a very long tail and sharp claws. Her past is unknown, but she was probably sold from a very early age, and she's a rare breed of cat.
Laryana: This fiesty cat is very pretty. She loves birds and sunlight, and has the kindest amber eyes flecked with blue. She was only a tiny kitten when she came to the city, carried there by a mother wolf, and left with a caring family. But when the family was to poor to feed her, she ran away to save them the pain of giving her away.
Crakia:Scary overlord. Need i say more? Apparently so. He was bred from the finest cats, to be a perfect present for the governer from a far-away ruler, intended as a bribe. Crakia has grown up thinking that he was the weakest cat because of his size, but when he dscovered that he had a hidden power deep within him, he grew greedy.
Neon:Neon grew up in Rally cat tribe, so he used to live a high-paced life of racing around, having fun, but he admired Crakia so much that he left his good life to be an officer. He was so young though, that he can't remember it, and Crakia has told him that he found neon on the side of the road, dying. LIES!!!
