Summary: Four kits- Silverstreak, Silverstorm, Silvershine, and Silverstep- are found on the Thunderpath, all silver with different markings. One is accepted into each of the Clans, and their true history is covered up by the leaders as by saying they are their kits. Soon, the truth is revealed; the leaders found them lying on the Thunderpath and felt pitiful to leave them there. But still, something is not revealed...

Prologue
Four kits laid on the Thunderpath. All were silver, but with different markings: one she-cat had several stripes on her face (Out Of Story: She looks a lot like Feathertail on the cover of Moonrise); the other she-cat was deeply flecked; a tom was silver-and-brown tortoiseshell; and the last tom's front legs were jet black, while all paws were black too.

Suddenly, the flashing eyes of a monster appeared in the distance, rapidly getting brighter. Only ten foxlengths away, the face-striped she-cat mewled a warning; she had very, very accute senses. But the warning would do no good; being as newborn as they were all they could do was wiggle and snuggle pitifully. The black-legged tom cried out a kit's version of a battle cry. The others did not understand this. The flecked she-cat tried to snuggle around the others for warmth, but then she realized that she was the same size and this was impossible. And the tortoiseshell tom tried to wiggle away. None of this worked.

The monster being only a fox length away, the kits were doomed. Suddenly, four flashes took each kit, each carrying them to their Clan's territory. "Thank SkyClan we came in time," muttered one leader, Moonstar. "Otherwise, the prophecy would automatically fail."

YAY! I'll switch between Silverstreak, Silvershine, Silverstorm, and Silverstep in that order.

Chapter One
"Fear me, SunClan!" Silverkit batted at the nursery walls. "Feel my claws!" She mewled triumphantly as a bit of moss was scraped off. She had oddly opened her eyes very early, almost right after she had been born.

"Silverkit, dear, please don't do that," a completely white queen meowed softly in Silverkit's ear. "Crispair's kits are asleep."

"Awww, mom," Silverkit mewled, turning to her mother. "I'm bored."

"Come and nurse, please," Icebreak pleaded. "You're too young to playfight."

"Not even with the moss?" Icebreak shook her head. Suddenly, a blur of black-and-ginger pelt was seen rushing into the nursery.

"Dearest, there's a badger in our territory," he meowed urgently. "The Clan is mobbing them. I suggest you come; you are the deputy, after all."

"Yes, Moonstar, but what about little Silverkit?" Icebreak asked.

"If any danger comes, she can always wake Crispair," reminded MoonClan's leader. The white she-cat nodded and stood up. They rushed out of the den together, tails intertwining.

Silverkit suddenly felt an urge to get out of the den. She was a curious young kit; only recently had she learned to stumble, and found a great pleasure in walking. She staggered out of the den in wonder of what would happen.

* * * * *

A dappled-silver pelt huddled next to an ill-looking golden queen, eager for more milk. She was growing very quickly, and cared very much for her mother; being Maplestem's only kit, she was growing fatter with milk.

"Maplestem, you must come to Sparrowtear's den," insisted a black she-cat. "Your Gripmouth is getting worse!" The golden queen moaned, unable to argue with her terribly sore throat.

"Did someone say Sparrowtear?" A brown tom suddenly appeared at the cave opening.

"Yes," Endlesspelt nodded. "Maplestem's come up with Gripmouth. I think she should visit you." Sparrowtear immediately padded to Silverkit's mother.

"Sore throat, bloody mouth, lethargy," muttered the good-humored medicine cat. "All the symptoms are here. Help me bring her to my den." Endlesspelt obeyed.

Now only Grasskit, Goldenkit, and Silverkit were in the den. Silverkit felt strangly attracted to Grasskit, and didn't know why. She sighed. With mom sick, not much joy was left in her heart. The flecked she-kit suddenly felt an urge to get out of camp.

Silverkit ran out of the cave without hesitation. She blindly headed for MoonClan borders.

I read the first page and its REALLY good (Its so long, I don't think I can read it all in one day)! Keep on updating!

Anyways, thanks for all the positive comments. I'll post the next chapter now; its Silverstorm and Silverstep's turns now. Just so you know, Silverstreak is in MoonClan, Silvershine is in SunClan, Silverstorm is in StarClan, and Silverstep is in MeteorClan.

Chapter Two
Silverkit looked at his mother from the corner of his eye. She was asleep. He searched the den for Peakfur. She was also asleep. He got into his stalking crouch; no one but Silverkit knew that he already knew how to fight. He'd known the basics since he was born.

The black-legged tomkit wiggled his rear and pounced. He landed on one of Peakfur's kits somewhat awkwardly, but still an actual move. Flowerkit squealed.

"Mommy, Silverkit's trying to kill me!" The she-kit pointed an accusing claw at him. Right before her mother could wake up, he got snuggled against Pebblereef and pretended to sleep.

"Flowerkit, thats rediculous," yawned the queen, eyes only half open. She got back to sleep.

Suddenly, a huge paw prodded Silverkit. When he stood up and hissed at the owner of the paw, he opened his eyes and stared in surprise. It was a fox. Puzzled he hadn't scented the creature, he swiped a jet-black paw at the fox.

Silverkit blinked, and the fox was gone. He was still lying next to Pebblereef. Suddenly, a prickling sensation crept through his body, urging him to run to the MeteorClan border. He gave in without hesitation, and didn't even see the yowls of surprise from the other cats in the Clan as he ran through the moor.

The silver-and-brown pelt looked like a lump of fur to Dapplekit, Glasskit, and Deepkit.

"Get up, Silvery! Theres a lakeload of stuff to see out here!" Mewled the litter. "Even though you're just a pile of fur!" At this, Silverkit immediately leaped up from his sleep.

"I'm no worse than you peices of foxdung!" He snarled. "I could outrun any one of you." It was true. Silverkit was the fastest kit in MeteorClan; once, he had even beat his mother (Though she was drowsy at the time) in a race around the nursery.

Normally, he would have been quite plump, like any other kit. But he was about as lithe as an adult cat, and barely ever had milk. Silverkit was just never hungry.

Suddenly he blinked his eyes and saw a kit; stars in its fur. It mewled a racing challenge.

"I'll race you anyday!" He squealed, and pelted after the kit. What he did not know was that it was luring him.
