Chapter 1.

Tigerkit sat down next to his brother and sister, Flamekit and Dawnkit. He could practically feel the excitement in the air as Blackstar came down from the place he was sitting to stand before them.
Blackstar raised his head and said "I call upon my warrior ancestors, to give these kits a new name, to train them as apprentices." Tigerkit's tail was prickling with anticipation. Blackstar continued "Russetfur, you will train Flamepaw." A bit of jealousy went through Tigerkit, he was hopeing to get the deputy as as his mentor. Aw well, he thought, I'll get my mentor soon enough. Tigerkit watched as Russetfur and Flamepaw touched noses, then turned back to Blackstar. He continued "Snowbird, you are ready for your first apprentice, you will train Dawnpaw." Dawnpaw eagerly hopped towards Snowbird and touched noses with her.
Tigerkit was now standing up to touch noses with whoever was called to be his mentor. But Blackstar was now going back to to his den, it was obvious that the meeting was over. Tigerkit was confused, why wasn't he made an apprentice? Tigerkit looked around, no one seemed to see him. They were all crowding around his siblings. The sounds of them being congratulated started to seep into the background. Tigerkit was deep in thought, why wasn't he called? Then the fur on the back of his neck raised, it suddenly seemed a lot colder. What if he wasn't called because of his name?
"Tigerkit, wake up, Tigerkit!" Tigerkit jumped up and crashed into Flamekit. "Ouff!" Flamekit said "Tigerkit, you were mumbling in your sleep, and I was bored, so I woke you up!" Tigerkit was dumbstruck. It was just a dream? he thought, so it didn't really happen?
By that time, Flamekit was getting rather bored. He lundged at Tigerkit, who was deep in thought. Tigerkit jumped back in surprise, and landed in the thorns covering the nursery. Tigerkit screamed in pain, which caused Tawnypelt to run into the nursery. She quickly comforted Tigerkit, then told him to go to the medicine cat den while she scolded Flamekit. Tigerkit did this without much thought, other than even though it was a dream, it's not to far from reality. Many of the cats who were alive with the Tigerstar threat don't trust me. Tigerkit, with spirits low, headed towards the medicine cat's den limping all the way.

Um, i realized as I was awake last night (3 in the morning) that some things might not be clear. For starters, this is taking place some time during the power of three series. Also, this is Tigerkit, not Tigerstar as a kit, cause someone made that mistake. Anyways, Tigerkit's supposed to be good in this story, I think. Anyways, give me comments!! I like comments!

Anyways..... I got an idea of how many chapters are going to be in the book, either 4 or 5. But for now, heres chapter 2!!!!

Chapter 2.

Tigerkit was still sulking by the time he got to the medicine cat's den. Littlecloud was outside when he saw Tigerkit coming.
"Tigerkit! Are you alright? You're bleeding!" Tigerkit looked at himself, and he was indeed bleeding. Tigerkit groaned and started to sway, and Littlecloud hurriedly rushed him into his den. "First we need cobwebs to stop the bleeding." Littlecloud started searching for the cobwebs.
Tigerkit was curious. "Why do we need cobwebs?"
Littlecloud looked up from the cobweb he found, "We need cobwebs because, when applied to the wound, it clots the blood and stops it from flowing out of the wound."
"Oh."
Littlecloud thought little of Tigerkit's curiosity as he came nearer with the cobweb, but the next thing he asked took Littlecloud by surprise.
"Could I try?"
"What?"
Tigerkit turned his head away from littlecloud, "Nevermind, it was a stupid idea."
Littlecloud, not knowing what to do, said "No, it's not a stupid idea, I was just surprised, that's all." Littlecloud handed a cobweb to Tigerkit. "You need a steady paw to make sure the cobweb doesn't tear." With Littlecloud's advise and help, Tigerkit managed to apply the cobweb to himself with almost no mistakes. "Very good" said Littlecloud.
Tigerkit swelled with pride. Suddenly, Ivypaw came into the den. "Littlecloud, I have a stomach ache. I think I ate a bad piece of meat." Ivypaw quickly looked at Tigerkit, then looked away. The feeling of being considered an enemy or a traitor returned to Tigerkit. He got up to leave.
Although, it was Tigerkit's turn to be surprised, for as he was making his was to the entrance of the den, Littlecloud asked him "would you like to help me with this patient?" Tigerkit's face that was sad with feeling left out suddenly lightened up as he said "Of course!". Ivypaw looked like she was going to argue, but she thought better of it.
So the day went on in much of the same manner, treating one cat after another,so that by the end of the day most of the clan knew about Littlecloud's "little helper".
"Bye Littlecloud, see you soon!" Tigerkit ran to the nursery,eager to tell his mother about his day.
Littlecloud stood outside of his den, wondering Is it possible, that Tigerkit could possibly be the next medicine cat of this clan?


Well, that was chapter 2, and if you don't know by now what Tigerkit choices of path are by now, then there is some thing wrong with you. Just kidding. But seriously people, comments! I need to know what you think!!!!!

I did post on it. I would have posted Chapter 3 sooner, except for the fact I don't have a Chapter 3! Well, I'm almost done with it. I have writter's block! So annoying! arggh!!!!!!

Woot! Chapter 3 is finally done, I hate writers block......
Anyways, this is Chapter 3, and I have nothing else to say.....
Oh yeah! this chapter isn't from Tigerkit's point of view, It's from Littleclouds.


Chapter 3

Littlecloud sat at the meeting place for the medicine cats. It was a half moon, so the medicine cats were going to go to the moonpool. Littlecloud heard the familiar scent of the Thunderclan medicine cat and her apprentice. "Hello, Littlecloud"
Littlecloud dipped his head "Hello Leafpool, Jaypaw." The blind apprentice dipped his head back, as if he could see his actions. Littlecloud could barely suppress a shudder, the way Jaypaw always seemed to be able to look right through you always gave him the creeps. A little later, Barkface came with Kestrepaw, and soon after, Willowpaw. "Where's Mothwing?" Littlecloud asked.
Willowpaw answered" One of the elders was sick, so she decided to stay behind, and I'm coming instead." Littlecloud could swear that he could see from the corner of her eye Jaypaw sneer, but he was in a hurry to talk to his warrior ancestors tonight, so he took no notice.
"Let's go" Littlecloud said.
They started up the trail toward moonpool. It was Leafpool who broke the silence, "Littlecloud, have you decided on an apprentice yet? You won't live forever, you know."
Littlecloud instantly remembered Tigerkit's help that morning, and how he helped with the same enthusiasm that Mothwing had said Willowpaw had when he became her apprentice. But then, he remembered Tigerstar, and what he did to Shadowclan. Littlecloud also remembered that one time, Tawnypelt told him that she feared for her kits because Tigerstar could visit them in dreams. Littlecloud just said," Not yet, but I'm keeping my eye out." By that time, they were at the moonpool. They entered the cold damp cave and sat down besides the moonpool. Littlecloud licked from the pool, closed his eyes, and fell asleep.

Littlecloud stood by the moonpool. He looked around, but say no one other than his own reflection. Then, he scented a familiar scent, one that scented before in his dreams.
"Crookedstar?" Littlecloud turned around, and at the entrance, was the dead leader of Shadowclan.
Crookedstar started talking "Littlecloud, you're getting old. It won't be long till you are a member of Starclan."
"I know, but-"
"So why don't you acept the fact that you need an apprentice! Your practically handed a perfectly good apprentice, and you don't want him just because of a name!?!"
Littlecloud winced, not because Crookedstar was yelling, but because of the truth behind those words. "What about Tigerstatr?"
"In case you hadn't noticed, he's dead. And do not worry, Tigerstar hasn't visited Tigerkit in any dreams, And even if he does, we will stop him, for Tigerkit is on a path of honor, destined for greatness...."
Littlecloud woke up, with the words path of honor still ringing in his head. He said goodbye to the other medicine cats and headed toward home.

So, there's going to be 5 chapters in my story, and this is chapter 4. I love getting replies, even if my last chapter wasn't as good as I hoped.... COMMENT!!!!!


Chapter 4.

Tigerkit entered Littlecloud's den the next morning, just as Littlecloud was telling his patient, Snowbird, some big news. "Congratulations, Snowbird, you're pregnant." Snowbird first let out a loud gasp, then squealed like a kit in joy.
"I got to tell Oakfur!" she exclaimed, then ran out past Tigerkit.
Littlecloud seemed to notice Tigerkit for the first time. "Hello, Tigerkit, could you do me a favor and look after the den while I talk to Blackstar?" before Tigerkit could say anything, Littlecloud was already gone. I know I'm he asked me to look after the den he thought but I really should congratulate Snowbird, after all, she was one of the few cats in the clan that didn't constantly treat me like a traitor. Tigerkit left the den and walked over to were Snowbird and Oakfur were talking.
"Congratulations, Snowbird." he mewed.
Snowbird simply smiled and nodded, but Oakfur didn't seam to appreciate Tigerkit's being near him, for he said "Don't you have some were else to be, kit?" Tigerkit winced, ever since he started helping Littlecloud he was treated kinder by the clan.
"Oakfur!" Snowbird exclaimed. Tigerkit started walking back toward the medicine cats den while Snowbird scolded her mate. About halfway back to the den, a thought entered Tigerkit's head.Maybe, if I were a medicine cat, then everyone would not act like I was a traitor. Tigerkit stopped. He didn't know where that came from, in all his fantasies he was always turned into a warrior, not a medicine cat. But the more he thought of it, the better it seams. Tigerstar started out as a warrior, and that's who he reminds everyone of. Also, helping Littlecloud had been a lot of fun. That's when he saw Blackstar and Littlecloud. He was a kit, so of course he was curios. So he decided the ease drop on them. He hid behind a bush and got closer.
Blackstar was talking "So, I was thinking, remember how Firestar took Brambleclaw has his apprentice, because he didn't trust him? Well, I was thinking about doing the same thing with Tigerkit, especially since one of our very few warriors is now pregnant." Tigerkit was stunned. He knew that most of the clan didn't trust him, but he didn't expect his leader to think of him as a traitor! That's when Littlecloud started talking.
"Actually, I have been thinking the same thing, but for a different reason."
"No!" Tigerkit ran out from his hiding place. "I don't want to be a warrior, I want to be a medicean cat!"
Blackstar was surprised, he didn't expect Tigerkit to be listening to them, much less jump out and say he wanted to be a medicine cat, but Littlecloud started purring in amusement. "I know you do, that was why I was about to suggest that I become your mentor, but for a different reason than not trusting you."
Blackstar looked embarrassed, he was, after all, just overheard by the one he said he didn't trust, saying he didn't trust them. "Eer... if you want to be a medicean cat, I can't see why not." Tigerkit was practically now jumping for joy. He was finally going to be accepted by the clan!

That was chapter 4. I made Snowbird get pregnant, because in the book Outcast, she was a queen getting ready to have kits. Also, I have no idea if Oakfur was her mate, I just chose a warrior by random. The next chapter's coming soon!

Sorry I havn't been posting here too often! Wait, in Chapter 3, It said Crookedstar visited Liitlecloud, but Crookedstar is in Riverclan, not Shadowclan!

The last chapter in my story, Ch. 5!

Chapter 5.

Tigerkit sat next to his brother and sister. He lightly bit his tongue, and he felt a bit of pain. This is real, he thought it isn't a dream. Blackstar walked over to them and started talking. "There is a need of warriors in this clan, for times are tough, and we are running short. Because of this, I expect the new apprentices to act like warriors in our time of need."
All of them said "Of course, Blackstar"
Blackstar nodded. "In that case, Flamekit, you will be my apprentice, and You're name shall now be Flamepaw." Flamepaw's eyes lit up with this great honor of having the leader as a mentor. With tail held high, he touched noses with Blackstar, but Tigerkit couldn't help wonder what about what Blackstar said before, about taking the one he couldn't trust. Did the reason that he chose his brother have something to do with not trusting him, or simply the lack of warriors? Tigerkit was so deep in thought, he almost missed his sister's call. "Dawnkit, you shall now be Dawnpaw, and you're mentor will be Oakfur." Tigerkit remembered how Oakfur had treated him when he congratulated his mate. He'll warn his sister later. Then finally, it was his turn. For a moment, he couldn't help worrying that he wouldn't get called, but his worries vanished when Blackstar started talking again. "Tigerkit sill now be known as Tigerpaw. Littlecloud, you are getting old and will join Starclan soon. Teach Tigerpaw the trades of Medicine cat." Tigerkit herd some gasps in the background. Some cats either didn't know about Tigerpaw's help, or didn't believe that he would actually become Littlecloud's apprentice. Tigerpaw walked over to Littlecloud and touched noses with him. He couldn't help smiling, he was finally an apprentice.


That's the end of it, I'm sorry that the last chapter was so short. But I finished my first one, and that, to me anyways, is pretty awesome. ;D ;D ;D
