Thanks guys! I'm so sorry about all the waits, now I've got my act together and a post a day! I should be able to get this typed before I leave for my tennis, if I type quickly.

"Come on, wake up!" Soot said, poking Cotton, "I've already caught five mice!"
"Huh?" Cotton meowed.
"Here!" Soot said, throwing three mice at Abby and Andy.
"Thanks!" Andy replied.
Soot handed on to Cotton and began to eat on himself.
After they had eaten, they sat down at a pond.
"Whoever it is has killed two, maybe four cats!" Cotton said.
"And many more are likely to die," Soot said sadly.
"Well I, for one, have had more than enough near-death experiences," said Cotton, making them all laugh.
They sat there until the sun set and then went back to the village.
Flame was pacing and they walked up to him.
"Any more on Page?" Abby asked.
"I got a riddle that was in the sand and was a bit smudged" Flame replied and took them to it.
It said, "She's under a pool of blue,
in something that's ra
but hurry, 'cause in a day,
forever down there she'll lay"
"The pond!" Abby said.
"Yeah, what word that begins with ra got smudged?" Soot wondered.
That night, they were still up.
After a while, Abby said, "Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'll never sleep. Let's go explore the pond!"
"I'm game!" Andy agreed,.
"Me too!" Soot said.
"Me three!" Cotton put in.
"OK, let's go!" Abby said, getting up.
They silently walked out of the village and up to the pond.
"Who wants too go first?" Soot asked.
Without a word, Abby leaped in.
"Wow" Andy muttered and leaped in.
"Come on Cotton," Soot said and they jumped in together.
He wasn't sure what too expect and what he saw both amazed and shocked him.
Dun Dun Dun!
