Title: Back to the... Clans?
Chapters: Undecided
Author: Lightningstar
Pairing: None
Rating: PG
Spoilers: No major spoilers... at least, not yet.
Summary: Something goes wrong with the DeLorean, and Marty and the Doc are sent to the world of Warriors. What's worse- they're cats now as well! How will the two cope? Obviously a crossover with Back to the Future. The first chapter is set as if Doc Brown and Marty didn't go to the future in Part II.
Warning: Craziness below. Be very careful.
Disclaimer: I do not own Warriors or BttF.
Beta: None
Cover: None
Author's Notes: I'm a huge Back to the Future fan, so I decided to write this little story to let out some fangirl-ness. xD I wrote it really fast, so it's not of real high quality... but it makes me laugh all the same.
"Doc, are you sure we want to do this again?" Marty McFly questioned Doc Brown. "You know what happened last time we took a ride in the DeLorean." He crossed his arms and watched curiously as the white-haired inventor finished tweaking the time machine.
Emmett Brown glanced over at Marty. "Nonsense, my boy!" he exclaimed. "This is good experience for you." He rounded the DeLorean and lifted his safety goggles. "It's all set. Climb in."
Marty was still unsure. "I don't know, Doc, isn't this dangerous? What if something goes wrong?"
"Goes wrong? With my time machine? Bogus," the Doc scoffed. His eyes were wide. "Now get in, my boy!" He nearly pushed Marty into the passenger seat, and then climbed in next to him. "What time would you like to go to?"
The blinking lights invited Marty to make a decision. He thought for a moment before entering, July 4, 1776, 8:00 AM. "I want to see the signing of the Declaration," he told the Doc. "It might help me with my history class." He pulled the seatbelt across his lap, and the Doc did the same.
Flipping the switch, Doc Brown cried, "here we go!" He revved up the car and pulled out of his driveway, speeding down the road. The DeLorean climbed steadily until it finally peaked at 88 mph. Fiery tire tracks were left behind as the time machine disappeared into the past... or so they thought.
The DeLorean took an unexpected crash-landing. The Doc and Marty saw trees and bushes fly past. They tumbled around inside, suddenly free of their restraints. For some reason, both of them felt smaller and hairier than before. When the DeLorean stopped crashing around, Marty looked over at the Doc and screamed.
"Doc! You're a... a CAT!" And it was true. The Doc had transformed into a stark-white cat with long hair. Doc Brown glanced down at himself and then cried, "Great Scott, Marty, so are you!"
Marty examined himself. He was a brown tabby. His kitty ears twitched and his tail flicked in anger. "This is heavy..." he muttered.
"Marty, I honestly don't think we're in 1776," the Doc explained. "Something must have gone wrong with the time machine. Blast!" He tried to open the door without much success. "The space-time continuum must have bent as we were passing through! Maybe the flux capacitor is broken..."
"Doc!" Marty exclaimed. "Let's just get out of the car and figure out where we are."
Doc Brown nodded. "Excellent idea, Marty. There's got to be a reasonable explanation to this."
"Umm... Doc? We're cats," Marty pointed out. "I think the explanation to this is far from reasonable."
"True... true." Doc Brown agreed. "Now come on, Marty, help me with this car door handle..."
