Thanks~ I didn't edit this for a while, but I'll write a chapter now. Seeing as Alliances aren't really needed for this?
Chapter one, Apprentices in Love
Graypaw padded along happily, he was going to his first Gathering! He turned his head to his buddy, Firepaw, who looked a little worried. "Firepaw, what's--?" He started to meow, but was cut off by Firepaw whipping his head around. "Cinderpelt and Spottedleaf have a very, very odd rivalry. Cinderpelt's Spottedleaf's Apprentice, for StarClan's sake!" He meowed, rather too loudly.
He glanced around, then lowered his voice as he turned back to Graypaw. "I think I like Spottedleaf better, but it's oh so hard to choose!" He whispered. "Do you have a Apprenticehood crush?" He added quickly, hoping her wasn't the only Apprentice with a love. Graypaw shook his head, and Firepaw's eyes lowered. He sighed, and flicked his tail to Sandpaw and Dustpaw. "Don't be worried, they're in love, so I don't see why you can't be." He pointed out, resting his tail gently on his friend's neck.
"Don't worry." He meowed again, simply. He lifted his tail and padded ahead. Firepaw let out a very slight whimper as he turned to Sandpaw. "I sorta liked her most . . ." He thought, somewhat disappointed, her turned his head back face-forward and padded ahead, too. Eventually, the reached the empty hollow where Gatherings were held.
He hesitated as all of the Warriors and Apprentices ran down the hill, he was watching Sandpaw and Dustpaw disappear. He blinked, wincing, feeling a little broken-hearted. He turned once more, and then darted down the hill faster then you could say 'mouse.' He skidded to a stop, peering around for some Apprentices to brag too, trying to avoid Cinderpelt.
~*~*~
Graypaw lunged up from his running and landed with great ease. He turned, eyewhiskers raising as a very pretty she-cat padded up to him, looking somewhat pleased. The silver she-cat sat down by him, twitching her tail for him to do the same. He lowered his eyewhiskers, but he was amused and confused about this random she-cat. The she-cat dipped her head a little. "That jump was magnificent." She meowed, obviously in awe, it showed in her voice. She opened her jaws again, and Graypaw sniffed, smelling RiverClan and . . . A sweet scent, sweeter then Spottedleaf's scent, at least, to him, the scent was.
She quickly meowed again, with a half rough, half silky voice, "I'm Silverpaw. Who're you?" She meowed, opening her jaws and sniffing before the gray tom had a chance to reply. "You're from ThunderClan?" She meowed, now sounding somewhat suspicious, but interested. "Y-yes." He eventually stammered, noticing her silvery pelt and he soft, blue eyes. He felt wonderful, and just kept an, oddly enough, purr down.
He smiled at the she-cat, who smiled back gracefully, and gave a half compliment half retort meow towards him. "Well, don't sit there like a furball! What's your name?" She meowed, a hint of amusement in her eyes. "I like him . . . And I think he likes me back!" She thought excitedly, snapping back to reality just in time to hear his name "Graypaw." He meowed, his eyes brightening up more. "I like her . . ." He thought excitedly, his paws kneading the ground more. "And I think she likes me back!"
