Chapter 1 (I don't like Prolouges,sorry!)

Adder washed her long, silky fur in complete silence. Flower wished she would say something, but she had nothing to say to her, and she hadn't said a word since going to talk to the leader a few minutes ago. There was nothing to start a conversation about, just a few tumbleweeds rolling on the ground. Flower picked one up and hooked it with her claw. Adder stopped washing herself, and Flower thought she had her attention, but the she cat just mewed, "Stop acting kit a kit!" and she went back to bathing herself.
Flower was surprized by the tint of annoyance in her voice, and in pain, she tried to ignore it. Adder was her best friend, and she knew the leader had told her something to upset her, or else she wouldn't talk like that. Normally, Adder and Flower were making jokes, or out hunting with old friends. They had known each other for a long time, and Flower would never imagine something like this ending it, while they were still young and without mates. Flower put the tumbleweed down slowly.
She wondered what to do, after all, Adder was acting funny, and since she wasn't talking to her, Flower was bored. She watched all the other cats, but they became boring when no one did anything. She looked at the fresh kill pile; it was awfully low, and Flower decided she would go for a hunt. She stretched her legs, front to back, then got up and padded to the entrance of the camp. Adder got up and raced in front of her. " The Leader of All says you cannot go. You stay here, and if you rest, maybe you can go tommorrow."
Flower wanted to ask her why, but instead, she headed to her sleeping place and lowered her head down, hoping to be able to watch the sun's glow dip behind the large trees, but there was no sun to be seen. Flower let out a sigh of disapointment, but she layed her head down and slowly went to sleep.

Chapter 2


Flower raised her head to the early morning light. She winked in disgust as she realized that she had slept much longer than she had planned to. She wanted to see how Adder was feeling.For a moment she wondered if after last night she should ask her, but she decided it was best to see if she was going to be any better today.
She turned to see her friend curled up beside her and figured whatever had freaked her out yesterday was over and done with now. "Adder, wake up." she whispered. Adder opened one eye warely. "Morning already?" she yawned, then stretched her legs slowly in the moss bed. Flower nodded. "You wanna go hunting?" she mewed, hoping Adder still wasn't feeling right, but her friend just replied, "Sure! But don't you think we should stay here untill the rest of camp wakes up?"
Flower looked around and admited her friend was right. The rest of the camp was sound asleep, and if one of the elders or kits heard, they would be in some major trouble. "Well, okay. But I want to go somewhere;I would never go back to sleep now, with all the time that I've been awake." Adder got a puzzled look on her face, then it turned into laughter. "Well, I didn't think you'd been awake for that long!" she whispered, though this time her voice began to rise.
"Shhhh!" Flower popped out before she could think of it. "Sorry." she added after Adder have her a hard glance. "It's okay. Just next time don't shhh louder than the cat you're shhhing!" she let out a quiet mrrrrrow of laughter.
Flower got up and shook, scraps of moss and leaves coming off her in a rain. Adder coughed. "Come on. Why the heck do you have to do that around me? And why can't you wait? What if you woke up the Leader of All?" she mewed. Flower was about to give out another smart retort, but a almost silent cough sqeaked between the cracks of the leader's den.
Flower gave Adder a worried glance and curled back up in her den quickly, hoping the Leader of All hadn't seen her. But there were rumors that the Leader of All knew everything, and it was shown as a fact when the leader came through his den mewing, "Flower, come here!" Flower raised her head as if she had been sleeping all along, then got up warely and headed into the leader's den.

Flower made her way down the deep dark cave, praying that The Leader of All had meant what he said. He wasn't trying to get her in trouble at all, he was trying to tell her she was part of a huge prophecy and that she needed to be aware of it. Flower hoped that it came true.

Flower may fall in love,
beginning to see the white wings of a dove,
the entrance to her heart is hard to find,
but one cat knows her soul and mind.
It begans with a visit from old Flower,
beginning to see her greatest disire,
wanting a mate to call her own,
he will see her and know she's forgotton,
the cat in her soul of which she was born,
and now she must arise,
to get this cat to come out of disguse.

Flower wasn't sure what cat this prophecy included other than herself, but she knew one thing; she was eager to find out. She could visit around and maybe she could spot the cat, but without even the slightest lead, that was impossible.
Flower told herself that instinct could teach her which tom was it, but she wasn't so sure when she knew so many toms in which she liked. Another prophecy might be able to help her out, but right now she couldn't find the strength to look around, and she curled up in her mossy nest quietly.

Flower was in a dark forest. She rushed around, calling out for someone to tell her which way she was to go. Nothing was there. She called once more and sat down, defeated. She wished she could wake up and go hunting;she wouldn't stop looking untill she knew which tom the prophecy was talking about if only she could escape this place.
Then, a sudden pain reached her body, but not one of a battle scar;one of a deep mental scar that would never heal. She had lost her brother in a bad accident with a monster. Flower couldn't help but feel responsible.
Now he stood in front of her, staring her in the face. Stare in the eyes of something sweet. Brown eyes you can't ignore. They might be someone out of range. Something will bring you together.


Flowerclaw awoke with a start. This prophecy made even less since than the first one... brown eyes you can't ignore? Then, it hit Flowerclaw. Bloodfrost had brown eyes Flowerclaw could never manage to ingore.
