Introduction
Scourge never wanted a mate, correct? And he never had one. But what if..just what if.. he did? What would his children be like? What would his mate be like? This is the answer! Read ahead if you want to find out.
Chapter 1: The Birth
I squealed, squirming around near my momma's belly. I felt my brothers push against me, and I squealed again. I could feel my mother's soft breathing, but her yelling at my father. "Scourge! This is what you get for having a mate!" "Well I don't want them! I'm not going to have one piece of buisness with those furballs!" I couldn't really understanding what they were saying. I heard soft mumbling instead of yelling and screaming. Finally, I thought they stopped, because my mother's breathing got slower and she looked down to us. I felt her paw on me, and she said proudly, "Her name shall be Julias." I rubbed around my mother's paw, purring and feeling happy.
Chapter 2: Not your Heart, but Mine.
(Note: last chapter was short.)
I jumped up from the small rock, pouncing onto Scrutch. I tackled him with all my might. Pawing deep into his skin, pretending like I was clawing, I nipped his ear then skidded forward, kicking him to the side. He growled playfully then caught my paw, making me slip. He pinned me down, then nipped my face and pawed my neck. I kicked him off then slid to the side, forcing myself into a defensive position. "Kits!" yelled Momma. We all froze and jumped into the trashcan. Momma held us secretly, because Scourge wants us to be killed. I was squished against Scrutch and Artis. We all hid at the bottom of the trashcan in terror. We were always so nervous when Scourge and his groupies came to see Momma. They always hit her and punished her. I felt like Momma was taking the blame for us, and right at that moment I felt grateful, happy, and joyous. Until I heard a shriek and blood splatter. Then I heard a breath heavily breathe, then a wall being kicked and pawsteps getting farther and farther away. Artis whispered, "What happened? Scrutch, go check!" Our brother skidded up the can and looked out it. "Momma's alive. She's just stumbling a lot. They're gone." We stayed in the trashcan until Momma meowed, "K-Kittenss!" We climbed out of the can and saw that she was in refuge in a hole in the brick wall. That was our home. It had chicken bits, two bones, and some leftover food. There was some drainage of water, so we got drinks pretty easily. We crawled into it beside our mother and we put up the cardboard covering so nobody saw us. I felt safe near my momma, and she gave us each a chicken bit. We ate happily then cuddled up beside her and slept.
I was in a deep, thick forest. I saw Scourge and an orange tabby fighting. My head swirled, and so did this dream. As I passed each tree, there was one more leaking of blood from Scourge's body. When he was covered in clawings, I wanted to yell out but I made nothing.
I woke up with a start and looked around. Momma licked my head and whispered, "Brick, Bone, and some other cats just patroled. But were safe." Momma looked at us then slid off. "Stay here, I will be fine." We went back to sleep. I heard a small shriek then a little blood fall, but that always happened when Momma protected us. For hours and hours, I never felt a warm stomach, but cold bricks. I decided to wake up. I pawed Scrutch and Artis. "Momma hasn't been back for several hours. Let's go check on her." Irritably, they nodded and got up. We shoved the cardboard covering away and saw our Momma's body, lifeless. "Momma!" I mewled and ran over to her, licking her wounds. Artis and Scrutch did the same thing. I heard pawsteps, so I backed up. Appranetly they didn't. I zoomed back to the hole in the bricks and covered myself. I heard shrieks and mewls. No! I ran outside, seeing Artis and Scrutch dead now. In a quick second I was picked up and was zooming off. I felt dizzy for some reason and looked all around me. Some cats started chasing the cat that held me, other cats just stopped and stared. Soon, I was led into a thick forest like I was in this morning. I had slowed down, and I looked all around me. I saw a marshy ground and many cats. Suddenly, a dark brown, evil-looking one came up to me. "Tigerstar, here's a BloodClan kitten," said the cat holding me. "Just set it down in the nursery." How dare that cat call me a 'it'! Struggling, I whipped my claws at him. "I'm not a it, you mouse-brained idiot!" He narrowed his eyes at me, but I was gone into a cave. I was set down by a young tortoiseshell she-cat. "Tawnypelt, here's a BloodClan kitten I saved for Tigerstar," said the cat that was holding me. The tortoiseshell dipped her head and responded, "Thank you Rowanclaw." So there was Rowanclaw, Tawnypelt, and Tigerstar I knew already.
